As a research participant, we want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The policies of the research unit serve as the guidelines to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience. Please make sure to limit the amount of items that you bring with you for your stay. If you should have any questions about our guidelines or policies, please feel free to ask any CRI staff member at any time during your stay.

 

Do bring the following:

 

Basic toiletries will be provided (other toiletries such as contact solution, toothbrush/toothpaste, cosmetics and items that do not contain alcohol are permitted)

Casual clothing attire

Pajamas

Undergarments

 

Do NOT bring the following:

 

Valuables (money, credit cards or jewelry)

Inappropriate clothing or materials (pornography, provocative clothing, items promoting alcohol, drugs, violence or evil)

Electrical items or equipment (computers, cd players, curling irons, hair dryers etc…)

Aerosols

Toiletry items that contain alcohol (perfume, cologne, some mouthwashes)

Hair chemicals (relaxers, hair color, bleach, perm solutions)

Ceramic, glass or metal items (keys, razors, nail clippers, wire hangers, metal binders, scissors)

Chewing gum

Lighters, matches

Alcohol or drug paraphernalia

Dangerous items or weapons

Unauthorized medications or narcotics

Personal cigarettes (If necessary, cigarettes will be distributed by staff)

  

CRI is not responsible for personal valuables brought to the research unit.
